Two would-be burglars got more than they bargained for when they began shooting at a Texas man in his apartment, who returned fire and killed both early Saturday morning. The resident of the apartment on the 4300 block of North Garland Avenue said two men forced themselves into his apartment and began shooting at him at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Garland Police . The man said he returned fire to defend himself, police said. The Dallas County Medical Examiner has not yet identified the two men who died at the scene, police said.
